Rolta and Rolta-soft have only a low tendency to take up moisture and have a high loft, thus they have proved their suitability as padding bandages in many fields of application. For example as secretion-permeable layer applied on top of ointment dressings or as a padding bandage under plaster casts. Rolta bandages are conformable, give a non-slip finish and let moisture pass through, thus minimising the occurrence of skin pressure points under the plaster cast.
